Theo một tuyên bố mới đây, Gmail sẽ cho phép người dùng có thể gửi email trong email dưới dạng tập tin đính kèm, mà không cần phải forward hay tải xuống như trước đây. Hay theo như Google: “Giờ đây, bạn có thể đính kèm email trong một email khác trong Gmail”.
Các tập tin email này sẽ có định dạng .eml, và người dùng có thể đính kèm bao nhiêu email tùy thích. Người nhận khi mở các tập tin email này sẽ được chuyển sang một cửa sổ mới.
Tuy nhiên tại sao Google lại ra mắt tính năng đặc biệt này? Theo tuyên bố của Google thì đây có thể là câu trả lời:
“Chúng tôi đã được góp ý rằng việc đính kèm email sẽ tiện dụng hơn là phải forward từng email riêng biệt, ví dụ như bạn muốn forward nhiều email liên quan đến một chủ đề. Với tính năng mới này, bạn có thể làm được điều đó dễ dàng. Gửi email dưới dạng tập tin đính kèm cho phép bạn tóm tắt và đính kèm những email với nội dung chi tiết hơn cho khách hàng, giống như các tập tin tài liệu, và họ có thể mở chúng với ứng dụng email thông thường”.
Google cho biết tính năng này sẽ dần dần được đưa đến người dùng trong vòng 2 tuần tới.
